Descriptions you can use
One line: Pack for the weather, your days and your plans.
Short: Packd builds a packing list from where you're going, how many days you'll be away and what you'll do there. Clothes are counted for your days, each activity adds its own kit, and weather items follow the forecast for your dates. Answer six quick questions to see a packing list for your next trip.
Long: Packd is a packing list app for iPhone made by TKN Studio. It builds a trip checklist from where you're going, how many days you'll be away and what you'll do: clothes are counted for your days, each activity (beach, hiking, sightseeing, nights out, meetings, gym, skiing, relaxing) and traveling with kids or a baby adds its own kit, and it reads the daily forecast for your destination and dates, from 16 days before you go, to add sun, rain or cold-weather items. The forecast part is a forecast, not a guarantee. The free version keeps one active trip; Packd Pro adds unlimited trips, reusable templates and a shared list everyone can tick off on their own phone. On the website, a free 6-question quiz builds a packing list preview for your trip, sorted into sections. Packd Pro is offered as a pre-order: access starts when the iPhone app is released, with a full refund before then and an automatic refund if it isn't released.
How it works
- Tell us about the trip. Where you're going (a city, the coast, the mountains, somewhere snowy, a road trip or a work trip), for how many days, and what you think the weather will do.
- Add your plans. Beach, hiking, sightseeing, nights out, meetings, the gym, skiing or relaxing. Each one adds its own kit, and so does traveling with kids or a baby.
- See your list. One list in sections: documents, clothes counted for your days, toiletries, tech, health, activities, weather and other. Enter your email and it opens right away.
- Go further with Pro. Packd Pro adds unlimited trips, reusable templates and a shared list everyone can tick off on their own phone.
